Message from the CHAIRMAN
The Department of Geography is one of the oldest rather pioneer department strated from 1955.It has the Honour of being the first department among the Pakistani Universities who has launched successfully the programme of M.Sc inGeography according to the subjects priscribed by U.G.C.This has absolutely changed the nature of the subject,the subject which was previously concised "what is where" has now spreaded over "what ,where,how and why".
The department is offering various courses in the area of Geography through land use surveys (physical aspects as well as Rural land use surveys )
We are enabling the students to observe and analyse the environmental/Geo-physical condations of different localties and help in infrastructure of Country.
The students of the department are proving themselves successful by utlizing their educational traning in various professional institutes and Socio-economic welfare organization working in the Country.
